On 8.6.24, a sunny Saturday, KIT opened its campus to prospective students and their parents as part of the annual "Campus Day". At the KIT Department of Physics, a team of professors, research assistants and students were on hand to answer questions and present the various degree programs in physics, geophysics, meteorology and climate physics.

Various working groups presented their research or demonstrated what lectures can look like. The students were even able to test their practical skills in a "Hau-den-Lukas" game on the principle of refraction seismics with hammer blows.

The student council provided refreshments and offered drinks, coffee and cake. Many thanks to all those involved for making this event a great success.

If you are interested in one of the above-mentioned study programs at the KIT Department of Physics (BSc programs are offered in German, MSc programs in English), please apply now for the winter semester 2024/25 at https://bewerbung.studium.kit.edu/.

The application deadline for international applicants is July 15, 2024, the application deadline for European applicants is September 30, 2024, but we recommend applying as early as possible

If you have any questions, please visit our homepage https://www.physik.kit.edu/ to find out about the requirements for the various degree programs in particular, or contact the academic advisors for your desired degree program. We look forward to welcoming you to KIT!
