Study for High Schoolers

You live in the region and still attend the high school?

Interested students can be offered by the Department of Physics to listen to and complete basic lectures, e.g. Classical Experimental Physics 1 or Classical Theoretical Physics 1, during the course level. This requires permission from the school, and the decision to accept is then made by the university.
If you are interested, please contact the Subject Advisory Office by mail.

Physics Laboratory for pupils Initiative

The Physics Laboratory for pupils Initiative aims to give schoolchildren an insight into fascinating areas of physics through a series of unusual experiments. It sees itself as a supplement to physics lessons at school, enabling direct contact with scientists and thus providing insights into the working methods at research institutions.

Study Ambassadors

The study ambassador program: Female students at KIT of one of the STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) come to your school and talk about their study experiences and why they are enthusiastic about it. They will tell you about current research topics, what their everyday study life is like, and report about possible later career perspectives. If you are interested in physics or mathematics but don't really know if it is something for you, this is the right place for you. The ambassadors will be able to answer your questions and may even inspire those who are not yet interested!

Our ambassadors introduce themselves!
